Team Kili is the challenge team for Operation Bad Altitude, the mission objective is to raise awareness and money for the Aboriginal Children’s Advancement Society. You can donate money online at our Everday Hero page here.
While you are comfortable knowing you donated toward the future and education of Aboriginal children in Australia, Team Kili will be sucking eggs, crouched and shivering, 19,000 feet up a mountain in Tanzania wondering why the hell they skimped on the hiking boots they bought for ten bucks from a discount warehouse. That’s what makes it so awesome, they will suffer so you can help a bunch of mega cute kids who deserve a better shot at life.
The fact Team Kili will be well supervised and in the company of expert guides makes the suffering nothing to worry about, but pretty funny. So give as much as you can! It’s for an awesome cause and every kid in Australia deserves the same future.
Target: $19,331, one dollar per foot of mountain.
Operation Bad Altitude is a project of the Positive Action League Australia.
